I build a preview of your new homepage. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
If you like it, you pay 50% and I build the full site.
You tell me what to change, twice, in writing, so nothing gets lost.
You pay the rest, the site goes live on your domain, and the domain and every file are yours.

Fair question
I work remotely, like many designers do. You get the same process as with anyone local: a preview before you pay anything, a fixed price, and a site you own.
Calls happen by video. Your business hours are my afternoon and evening, so that works well for businesses on Eastern and Central time.
