A walk through the house
- 01
Behind the dike
78 m² on two floors, a red roof, a terrace of its own. It is 300 metres to the dike and 400 to the water behind it.
- 02
Living by the stove
A sofa with room for four, and a wood-burning stove. The firewood is already there.
- 03
Cooking with a view
A kitchen with a dishwasher, a big fridge and a window facing the dike. The table seats six.
- 04
Sleeping under the roof
Upstairs a double bed and a single bed. If you wake early, you can see the mudflats through the gable window.
- 05
Evenings in the beach chair
The wicker beach chair comes with the house. The sun sets behind the dike, and the stove is already lit.

When is the tide in?
Twice a day the North Sea comes right up to the dike. This shows you when — so you can walk the mudflats at low tide and swim at high tide.
Approximated for this example. On the real site the values come from the tide gauge of the German waterways authority — fetched by the server, not by your guests’ browsers.
